We have a methodology to our cocktail making which is pretty much this: Add booze to the by-product of whatever is cooking in the kitchen at the moment. Bake a whole pumpkin; collect the water; add booze. Find bitters and a garnish. Done.

2 oz pumpkin water
2 oz vodka
1 preserved kumquat for garnish
3 dashes lovage bitters.

3 tsp = 1 TBSP
2 TBSP = 1 ounce
1 cup = 8 oz
1 cup = 1/2 pint
4 cups = 1 quart
4 quarts = 1 gallon
16 cups – 1 gallon

WHAT TO DO
Shake over ice, pour into glass. Drink.
